I have a brand new MacBook Air therefore it does not have a CD drive and I had to download The Sims 3 and The Sims 3 Pets from the Origin component. Once I finished downloading, I clicked 'play' from the welcome screen and it opened with what I would consider a launch screen. Hello, I have a MacBook air and the other day I tried to play the sims 4 and it wouldn't let me log in. I looked it up and they said to uninstall it and run the origin reset tool. I tried to add a new administrator account and tried the first-aid thing and it didn't work either. Origin Mac Won't Let Me Download I've dragged Origin into Applications but when I open it there's a pop-up saying 'install helper', I click on it, it asks me to enter my password, then just takes me back to 'install helper' again. So i'm asking if this is some kind of bug due to the new upgrade os MacBook system. I'm getting the feel that origin have bug with the new masOS Mojave. I already have spend too much money to Origin and Sims 4 so i'm not happy with this problem that it's happening for some weeks already. Back up your important data on your Mac computer. (Reinstalling macOS won’t erase your data in most cases, but it’s better safe than sorry.) Make sure your Mac computer is connected to the Internet. Click the Apple icon in the upper-left corner of your screen, then select Restart. Click Restart if you’re prompted.
Safari User Guide
Safari can download most types of files, but if you have trouble with a file, try these suggestions.
- If Safari is still downloading the file, wait for it to finish. You can’t open a file while it’s being downloaded.
- If the download is paused, resume it. Show the downloads list by clicking the Show Downloads button , then click the Resume button for the paused download.
- If you see a message that the app can’t be opened because it’s from an unidentified developer or wasn’t downloaded from the Mac App Store, you can open the app by overriding the settings in Security & Privacy preferences.
- Sometimes a download is incomplete because the file was damaged. Try downloading it again.
- Make sure you have the app needed to open the file. If you do, the file may have been corrupted during the download. Delete it, then try downloading it again.
- The downloaded file may be a compressed archive or disk image that contains the file you want. If the file is from a trusted site, double-click it to decompress it.
